Each of our programs has demonstrated success
over the years, from our after school programs to our charter school (rated “A” for over six years in a row),
from our employment and training programs to our
refugee resettlement programs.

Our most significant achievements include recognition by the state, county, and many municipalities, such as Miami, Sweetwater and Hialeah, for the work we have done on behalf of the youth of these communities. Florida’s House of Representatives formally commended us for our untiring and unselfish efforts in creating a self-help center for youth and families. Miami-Dade County has officially recognized the valuable services that we have provided to the community which has impacted the lives of youth in a positive manner.

Dozens of schools in which we have served, for example Miami-Coral Park and Hialeah High School, have extended formal appreciation to us for improving the academic and leadership skills of their students. Dade Partners and Miami-Dade County Public Schools have recognized us as an example of schools and the community working together.

Beyond these awards and recognitions for which we are humbled, our most significant accomplishments in our after school programs are the measureable achievements which demonstrate that, year after year, over 85% of our students improve their academic skills in reading, math, and science; they improve their self-esteem and social skills; and they improve their physical fitness abilities as well.

All of these awards and recognitions exemplify excellence in our field of human services because they symbolize a consensus in this community among our stakeholders and our peers that our agency consistently attains and exceeds established standards of performance which measure the increases in knowledge and improved attitudes among our clients, the actions they take as a result, and the improved standards of living they gain having participated in our research-based programs!
