In partnership with Washington D.C. based U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), YCI provides Reception and Placement (R&P) program services to refugees admitted through the U.S. Resettlement Program (USRP). All services are available in languages spoken by the clients and are free to the refugees we serve. For more information about our program please contact us at refugees@ycoop.org or 305.643.6730. |
Employment and Training
Getting refugees, asylees and Cuban/Haitian Humanitarian Parolees into employment is a key to their successful integration into American society. Our program help meet the short and long-term goals of each program participant. Employment specialists and job developers help refugees find jobs as quickly as possible, then provide additional training and counseling to help them advance to better jobs or to resume careers they had before coming to the U.S. YCI offers RET services in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. |
