World Refugee Day 2011

Refugee Task Forces of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties —the groups that help refugees to settle, integrate, and prosper in the community—joined forces and celebrated "World Refugee Day" on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Littman Theater.

Our celebration of World Refugee Day showcased these talented newly arrived refugees in a Variety Show. Refugees leave their homes behind but have many goals and dreams for their future. For many, that unique talent that they have can be what gets them through their hardest days.
