Refugee Youth Program

The Refugee Youth Program serves refugee youth in middle and high school offering help with acculturation, increasing social skills, and improving grades. Students receive support from a YCI tutor who tailors a plan for success during the school year and throughout the summer months.
All services are free and are available in the languages spoken by those we serve. Locations

  • Spring and Summer Program includes activities such as trips to museums, recreational activities and continued tutoring

This program has measurable and proven results which have lowered drop-out rates, absenteeism, and suspensions while increasing basic skills knowledge as well as students’ interest in completing their high school diplomas, many of whom continue on to postsecondary education programs.
